On Road Assist

Terms and Conditions

On Road Assist provides independent advice and support for individuals involved in road accidents. Our goal is to help you through the claims process, arrange vehicle repairs, and assist in recovering losses where applicable. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Accident Assistance and Claims Processing

  • Our experienced claims advisors will assess your situation and guide you through the next steps.
  • We will collect and record accident details to determine the best course of action.
  • Where appropriate, we will process the claim on your behalf.
  • Each case is handled individually, and outcomes depend on the specific circumstances of the accident.

2. Replacement Vehicles

  • If your vehicle is deemed unroadworthy, we may provide a comparable replacement vehicle while repairs are carried out or until your vehicle is declared a total loss.
  • If your vehicle is still roadworthy, we will arrange a replacement vehicle for you during the repair period.
  • The type of replacement vehicle provided will depend on availability and the circumstances of your claim.

3. Vehicle Inspection and Repairs

  • We may appoint an independent automotive engineer to inspect the damage and determine repair costs.
  • Repairs can be completed at one of our approved Accident Repair Centres, or you may choose your own repair garage.
  • If your vehicle is considered a total loss, we will guide you through the next steps for settlement.
  • We will keep you informed about the progress of the repairs and claim process.

4. Legal Support and Claims Recovery

  • On Road Assist does not provide legal advice. Any legal matters will be handled by your appointed solicitor.
  • If necessary, we can refer you to a specialist motor claims solicitor from our panel of experts. However, you are free to choose your own solicitor.
  • If the accident was not your fault, we will assist in recovering your losses from the at-fault driver’s insurance company.
  • Compensation and recovery of losses are subject to the circumstances of the accident and the outcome of the claim.

5. Insurance and Financial Responsibility

  • If your claim is successful, the at-fault party’s insurance will cover the costs related to repairs, replacement vehicles, and other damages.
  • On Road Assist does not charge customers directly for accident aftercare services but will recover costs from the responsible insurer.
  • If liability is disputed or the claim is unsuccessful, you may be responsible for certain costs. Full details will be provided before proceeding.

6. Your Rights and Responsibilities

  • You have the legal right to choose who repairs your vehicle after an accident.
  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate and truthful information about the accident.
  • You must cooperate with the claims process, including providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • On Road Assist aims to provide the highest level of support, but we cannot guarantee claim outcomes or liability decisions made by insurers.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • While we strive to offer the best possible assistance, On Road Assist is not responsible for delays or outcomes influenced by third-party insurers, legal representatives, or repair centres.
  • We do not accept liability for any financial losses resulting from claim disputes, insurer decisions, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Our services are provided as guidance, and we do not make guarantees regarding compensation or legal outcomes.
